While you may go anywhere in the world that you wish and may make things up along the way, here's a few key places you may elect to RP at.
The Drag: A strip of shops owned by people from a multitude of backgrounds and histories, many treasures can be had here if you've a keen eye, though you're more likely to be had by a con artist or a pickpocket. That's the face of the area anyways. Behind closed doors are genuine business men trying to get by, other's are inventors with a dream, and behind the rest of the doors are criminals of varying degrees some of which have big plans.
The Blue Districts: Any walled up and guarded area that is under the protection of one of the old governments or one of the new ones. These places tend to be very picky in whom they let in as an attempt to protect the innocent though this sometimes leads to the kind hearted but misunderstood to be shunned into crime ridden areas. They also evaluate you on your capacities. If you don't meet a standard they don't let you in due to limited space. Visitor's passes are a thing and may be obtained, either legally if you pass their check OR illegally via the black-market but you never know if it'll be seen through or not.
The Grotto: A large crater that some how has its own weather pattern's and even seems to have its own atmosphere. Within nature, though twisted and not the same as what was once on earth, is lush and healthy. Some of the new inhabitants find this area and settle in, and will hunt down and kill anyone who brings harm to this sanctuary.
Avalon: Any large floating mass of artificial land that many pirate crews with skyships call home. It's means of levitation are magical in nature. This large construct is heavily fortified and has a vast armament of different turrets on stand-by of various origins.
Atlantis: A massive under ocean civilization. Full of newcomers and amphibious peoples that were already here it is quite the sight to see despite it starting to experience a bit more corruption due to some of the shady peoples fleeing there as the "Surfacers" rarely will make the trip down there to hunt a criminal down.
Icarus Stations: Flying stations for incoming out outgoing space travelers. These have rapidly grown into trade hubs as well.
